Your profile is already built from public data — up to 25 work photos from your Google Business Profile, the 15 most recent Google reviews, brand certifications cross-checked against the manufacturers' locators, contact details, opening hours. Claiming gives you the controls.
Once claimed you can swap the default photos for your own, rewrite the description, reply to reviews inline, and add any services or brand certs we missed. Quote requests land in your inbox with reply-to set to the buyer. No resale, no broker, no per-enquiry charge.
Your listing appears on city, brand and service pages automatically. Ranking is by composite trust score: review volume, cert source, photo evidence, longevity. No paywall, no paid placement.
Every verifiable UK PPF and ceramic coating installer gets a basic listing whether they claim it or not. We don't gate visibility behind a sign-up wall and we don't remove unclaimed profiles to pressure installers into the platform.
Claiming changes three things. Edits go live without us in the loop. You earn the verified badge once we've confirmed the business is real. Quote requests land in your inbox instead of a moderation queue. Unclaimed profiles still rank, still show reviews, still appear on city and brand pages. They just don't carry the badge.
Verification is a manual check, not a tickbox. When you claim, we run four cross-references before the badge goes live.
First, Companies House. Trading name, registered address and active status have to match. Sole traders are reviewed case by case against HMRC and VAT records. Second, brand certification. If you've claimed XPEL Authorised, SunTek Select, STEK Pro, Llumar SelectPro or similar, we cross-check the manufacturer's installer locator. Self-declared certs without a public listing don't carry through.
Third, Google Business Profile match. The claim has to come from an email on the business's domain, or be confirmed via the GBP-listed phone number. Fourth, business email domain. Gmail, outlook and hotmail claims get a follow-up call to the GBP number on file.
Turnaround is 24–48 hours. If anything fails we email you with the specific gap and a path to fix it — we don't silently reject.
We're strict about what counts as a PPF installer. The directory exists to help buyers find people who actually do the work, so we exclude:
- Detailers without a dedicated PPF or wrap workshop. Polishing and ceramic coatings alone don't qualify for a PPF listing — ceramic-only studios are listed under services, not as film installers.
- Brokers, lead aggregators and “we'll find you a PPF guy” middleman services. If you don't install the film, you're not in the directory.
- Mobile-only operators who can't produce a fixed indoor install bay. PPF requires a clean, controlled environment — a driveway isn't one.
- Businesses we can't verify on Companies House, HMRC or via a registered brand cert.
We don't sell leads. We don't take commission. We don't resell the same enquiry to three other installers down the road, and we don't auction your visibility to whoever bids highest this week.
Quotes submitted on your listing arrive in your inbox with the buyer's email as reply-to. You reply directly. We're not in the thread. There is no “platform fee” on the job you win, no closed-deal kickback, no per-enquiry charge. If you'd rather not be listed, email us and we'll remove the profile — no retention call, no clawback.

I'm already listed — how do I update my profile?
Find your listing on /installers, hit “Claim this listing” on the page and complete the claim form. Once verified (24–48 hours) you'll get login access to edit photos, copy, services, brand certs and review responses directly.
What if my reviews aren't accurate?
We pull the 15 most recent Google reviews verbatim. If a specific review is defamatory or from a non-customer, dispute it via Google first — if Google removes it, we'll re-sync within 24 hours. We don't edit, hide or filter genuine reviews on request.
What if I'm not certified to a brand you list?
Brand certification is optional. Uncertified installers still rank by reviews, photo evidence and longevity. If you stock a brand we don't track yet, email us and we'll add it — we're expanding the brand list. See the current set on /ppf-brands.
How do I get the verified badge?
Claim your listing and pass the four-step verification check (Companies House, brand cert, GBP match, business email). The badge appears on your profile and on every city, brand and service page where you're listed.
What does premium cost?

What happens to my lead emails?
They land in the inbox you've nominated on the claim form, reply-to set to the buyer. We don't store them on a sales platform, don't resell them, don't share them with another installer, don't charge per lead. The thread is yours.
