Door shuts and the leading edge of the bonnet underside are typically wrapped a few inches in so no gloss line shows when the door or bonnet opens. Rocker panels are usually included on higher-tier specs but quoted separately on entry tiers. Pre-fit prep is essential on a matt finish — any swirl, RDS or holograms in the paint will telegraph straight through the satin film. Expect a single-stage paint correction, full panel decontamination (iron fallout, tar, clay), IPA wipe-down, then bulk-cut panels installed wet with edges tucked into shuts rather than wrapped over the lip. Reputable installers will refuse to fit matt PPF over unprepped paint.
