Is Hexis BODYFENCE made in Europe?

Hexis is a French company headquartered in Frontignan, near Montpellier. It runs production sites at Frontignan and at Hagetmau, both in France. Ask the installer which BODYFENCE film they are quoting.

What is the warranty on Hexis BODYFENCE?

It depends on the film. Hexis says its standard PPF can be guaranteed for up to 10 years, depending on geographical zone. BFWIDE is warranted for 10 years when fitted by a HEX'Pert installer. The warranty, honestly

10-year warranty on BODYFENCE Hi. Coverage is comparable to the US brands but the claims process runs through Hexis France — slower than XPEL.

How to verify an installer

Hexis runs a Certified Installer programme but doesn't publish a public UK locator the way XPEL and SunTek do. Ask the installer for their certification letter and date.

The films, broken down

Hexis sells several BODYFENCE films. The standard BODYFENCE transparent film self-heals when heat is applied with a heat gun, and Hexis gives it durability of up to 7 years in a Central European climate. BODYFENCEX and BODYFENCEXS use Hexis's X technology, which Hexis says self-heals at ambient temperature. BODYFENCEXS has a satin finish. BFWIDE is a 210 micron film that Hexis warrants for 10 years when fitted by a HEX'Pert installer. Hexis says BODYFENCEX is guaranteed for life when applied by an approved BODYFENCE installer, depending on geographical zone.

UK market position

Where Hexis sits in the UK

Hexis links its longer warranties to approved installers, so the installer you choose decides which warranty you can get. Ask the installer for evidence of their Hexis approval, which BODYFENCE film they are quoting, and the warranty terms for your area in writing. Our PPF cost guide uses prices published by UK installers; get two or three quotes for your car.

Who picks it

Who should pick Hexis

Hexis suits buyers who want film made in France, and owners who want a satin finish from BODYFENCEXS. It also suits anyone who wants the longest warranty in the range and can find an approved installer to fit BODYFENCEX. Check that the quote names the exact film, and ask whether paint correction is included or quoted separately.
