Is SunTek paint protection film as good as XPEL?

Both are self-healing films from established manufacturers. SunTek gives its Reaction film a 12-year limited warranty and its Ultra film a 10-year limited warranty. XPEL gives ULTIMATE PLUS a ten-year warranty. SunTek says its film is applied by professional SunTek installers and offers no DIY option. In practice, the installer's work matters as much as the brand, so compare the installers as well as the films.

How long is the SunTek Reaction warranty?

SunTek says professionally sold and installed Reaction is backed by a manufacturer's 12-year limited warranty. Certain restrictions apply, and SunTek asks buyers to get the warranty details from the dealer. Ask the installer for the written terms before you book.

Where do I find a SunTek dealer in the UK?

Use the dealer locator on suntekfilms.com, then check that the installer named there is the one quoting you. SunTek does not offer DIY film, so the dealer who fits the film is also your first contact for warranty questions.

What's the difference between SunTek Reaction and SunTek Ultra Defense?

SunTek lists Ultra Defense with a 10-year limited warranty. Reaction is SunTek's high-gloss film with a super hydrophobic top coat and a 12-year limited warranty. Both self-heal surface scratches with heat. Ask the installer to explain which one they are quoting and why.

UK market position

Where SunTek sits in the UK

SunTek sells through dealers, and its website has a dealer locator. Because SunTek does not offer DIY film, the dealer who fits the film is your first contact for warranty questions. Before booking, ask which SunTek film is on the quote, ask for the warranty terms in writing, and check which panels are covered. Who picks it

Who should pick SunTek

SunTek suits buyers who want a self-healing film with a long written warranty from a large manufacturer. Reaction has the longest warranty in the range.
