Went to these guys last week for them to repair my alloy, after being there for a short time I was advised the alloy was not repairable to its original state and they recommended not to get it repaired (which was fair enough), however before I left they told me I have to pay £20 for their time of taking the wheel off/on my car. Contacted them to explain what this charge was for as £20 is very steep for a 10-15 minute job and nothing completed the work for me. Had absolutely no reply from them and this was my first time using their services so I won’t be using them again
Hi Kay, When we take the wheels off to check, we take tyre off and wheel weights so we can check the buckle. In this case we couldn't fix the issue so we put the tyre and weights back on the car to balance the wheel and then back on the car. This is a standard fee that everyone pays to check/balance wheels.
