To keep it brief, with this company there are so many people in the workplace, one of which telling you how great they are and all that they will do, but be careful as what you are told you're getting and what you actually receive, as in my case, was two very different things. I was also told from the owner that ATD carry out the stone chips professionally prior to PPF, however when I was talking to the installer in person he said he wasn't a paint man and wouldn't be confident to touch in a chip that was revealed after their pre wash. I could go on there is more but just be careful if it's y
We are deeply disappointed to receive this review. Upon initial consultation, you informed us that there were some stone chips present on the front panels of your car due to it being 9 years old. We advised that these stone chips would be visible under the paint protection film (PPF) and we recommend touching the stone chips in first to try reduce the visibility. We offered to assist with this and touch in these stone chips for you before we applied the PPF. We agreed a date to carry out the PPF work. The car was delivered to us and we carried out a full inspection/condition report (this was the first time we physically saw the car). This unfortunately highlighted not only serval stone chips, but an area of missing clear-coat. We informed you of this immediately and you discussed with a member of our team potential solutions for this. Whilst we are more than happy to assist with touching in stone chips to reduce their visibility before PPF application, missing clear-coat cannot be touched in as easily and would still be very noticeable under the PPF application. We made you aware of this and said that we wouldn’t apply PPF to paintwork that is not of satisfactory standards in fear of compromising our quality of work. With this in mind, we advised having the panel looked at by a professional bodyshop to properly repair the area. We recommended several trusted bodyshops and even offered to assist with the logistics, in an effort to keep the booking and your experience as smooth as possible as we pride ourselves on customer service. After conversations with myself and the team on numerous occasions, it became clear that no matter what we suggested or advised, that this was not satisfactory for you. On this basis, we decided to respectfully withdraw from applying PPF to your car until the repair was carried out to a standard to which we would feel comfortable applying the PPF to. I do hope you manage to find a satisfactory solution for repairing the damage. ATD
